Bio

Dr. Fuller studied at two of Europe’s most prestigious universities, the Georg-August Universität, Göttingen and Trinity College, Dublin, passing the first Staatsexamen in 2005 and obtaining a PhD focused on Democracy and International Law in 2010.

Dr. Fuller has researched the mechanics of democracy for over twenty years. During this time, she has contributed substantially to the literature in this field, publishing three award-winning books (Beasts and Gods, In Defence of Democracy and Principles of Digital Democracy), as well as numerous highly-influential articles in the fields of both law and politics, covering issues such as terrorism, whistleblowing and geopolitical tensions. Her writing has provided some of the most impactful and widely-shared content at publications such as The Nation, The Financial Times, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, Spiked and many more. Her work has been translated into dozens of languages.

A law graduate and skilled debater with a rigorous classical training, Dr. Fuller has an extremely accurate track-record for prediction. She has consistently drawn attention to issues years before they became mainstream, e.g. polarization (2010), election manipulation (2010), social media (2015), multipolar world (2017), sortition (2019) and the rising power and specific tactics of non-profit organizations (2020).

Dr. Fuller also served as the Managing Director of the Solonian Democracy Institute, where she researched, published and mentored on digital democracy, for close to ten years.
